Just discovered this website.I love that a lot of clueless housewives around the country probably don’t even know it’s a parody. You can tell by some of the comments people leave, under the articles, that they think it’s for real! Funny stuff.
how long must i wait till my book arrives? i’m psyched to read my first iceberg slim novel!!!
i still have, like, one or two chapters left of The Three Stigmata Of Palmer Eldritch. i think it’s my favorite of the PKD books i’ve read. my brother is obsessed with the autobiographies of stand up comedians. i need to read steve martins’, supposedly it’s wonderful.
David just told me about a Tyra Banks show episode, in which, she faced her fear of dolphins in front of a studio audience. I love that someone is actually afraid of dolphins. I thought I was weird for having a crippling fear of mermaid body odor.
i was thinking about renting a music doc tonight, but, pretty much, all of them are just too depressing to watch. it’s the same story every time. band members meet, make some great music, play a bunch of shows, begin to hate each other, get screwed by their manager/label, become addicts, break up, get sick, die/go insane. why is it that pretty much every band’s story is like a Shakespearean tragedy? why is it that the final chapter of almost every musicians life is one of calamity and misery? the answer might be that, like actors, most musicians do not grow old gracefully. when one attempts to struggle against nature’s will, one is made to look foolish.
