Is it weird that I love the smell of my dog? I love her breath and her strange (fur?) odors. I don’t love how she tries to bite my legs when we run together. Who does that? She also makes insane sounds if we put her in her cage and leave the house. But that is so sweet. She hates that we are leaving her. I love that she has no ability, or interest, in disguising her feelings. I do feel that we can’t do enough for her. She seems sad often. People have told me that I seem sad often. I don’t really ever feel sad though. Maybe she doesn’t either. She is confused by my push ups and sit ups. She wants to comfort me when I’m doing them. She’s like “it will be ok”. It’s funny how different dogs are from humans. Yet we can still co-habitate. Dogs are better than cats. I didn’t always feel that way. There are some extraordinary cats. In general, dogs win. Only cause they care more. Cats are unreliable. Humans are too. Dogs aren’t. Cats are like the older brother who lives in the big city and doesn’t really have time for you. Dogs are the twin, that sleeps in the same bed as you and still says
“c’mon man,we don’t hang out enough!”. And when you neglect it, it just pouts a little, but would never pee on your coat in revenge. We have a cat that adopted us. We’ve tried to give it a name. I’ve finally settled on McDonalds, cause i don’t like it. It can’t be trusted. It’s the kind of cat that will sit on your lap and be all happy and purry, then when you get up, it scratches the crap out of you. I don’t need that from anyone, let alone something I feed. And we even give her good food, that gives her a full shiny coat. She might be a Buddhist wizard, but I wish she’d just discorporate already! I’m sure another cat could use that soft grey fur! It’s cold when you are waiting to be born.
